Well here goes my first blog. When I first started thinking about this I was originally going to talk about the chaos and disorder following Katrina. Someone who is close to me has been recently effected by some personal events that happened in the life of a friend of theirs. This made me think about changing the main focus of my first blog. For the last week I went back and forth as the news talked more about the aftermath of Katrina. Then today as I was going through some old email reminders I had sent to myself I found a quote that had interested me enough to copy it down and email it to myself so I could remember it at a later date. It really hit home for me today, more than the day I originally read it and I decided to just babble a little bit and then put up the quote for everyone else to digest in their own way. As I sit here now, writing this and consider the meaning it is taking on a whole new light. It is not just fitting for the original person it made me think of. There are a lot of people I know and don't know out there struggling, on many different levels. Know that everyone has a purpose, a reason, someone that you need to be strong for. This has turned out a lot different than I had originally intended, but it's better than if I had preached. Please share this with anyone you think may need it. Sorry to get so sappy right off the bat, next time I'm going to be pissed about something........I Promise :)
